Painting and Drawing Classes with Anna Massey
The two groups that took part in the exhibition at The Old Chapel Gallery met for weekly art classes in Nether Edge and Rancour with Anna Massey.
Many have been attending for several years and there is a mix of experience in the groups from improvers to more experienced artists.
On the courses students learn to use a wide variety of painting and drawing media including watercolour, acrylic, ink charcoal and pastels, covering a huge range of subjects.
The classes aim to be enjoyable and supportive with a mix of teaching demonstrations and self-led projects.
Gallery visits and sketch trips are also part of the course along with occasional exhibitions.
